Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1439

“Who are you looking for?” When Thea looked at the strange man in front of her, she was taken aback.

The strange man was roughly in his forties, dressed plainly, and looked like a farmer. He took out an elegant invitation and presented it to Thea.

“What’s this?” Thea accepted it, puzzled.

“It’s for James Caden,” said the strange man.

He turned around and left after saying that.

Thea did not open it to take a look. She shut the gate and walked back into the house.

As soon as she entered, James asked, “Thea, who was it?”

“I don’t know. They came to deliver an invitation to you.” Thea handed over the invitation she had in her hands.

“For me?”

James stared at the invitation in his hand, a puzzled expression on his face, and began to examine it.

The invitation was beautifully made. Nothing was written on the cover.

With confusion, he opened it.

‘Letter of challenge.’

As soon as he opened it, he noticed these three words, large and conspicuous.

“After a week. In the Southern Plains, at Mt. Thunder Pass. A fight to the death.”

When James read the words on the invitation, he was immediately baffled.

Thea also moved closer to take a look.

After reading the invitation, she asked, bewildered as well, “A letter of challenge. In this day and age, who sends a letter of challenge? They didn't even leave their name.”

“How would I know?”

James did not bother to give it much thought and casually tossed the letter he was holding onto the table.

He had too much on his plate right now. He did not have the time to travel to Mt. Thunder Pass in the Southern Plains for a fight.

“Are you going?” asked Thea.

“I’m not going. This might be a ruse to lure me away. I can't leave the Capital right now. If I leave and something happens, I certainly won’t be able to make it back in time.”

“Oh.”
