Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1605

Although there were many legends surrounding James lately, the King had no idea just how strong he currently was.

James smiled and said, “I have reached the Sixth Stair. Becoming a ninth-rank grandmaster is just a matter of time.”

Upon hearing this, Gloom, who was behind the King, exclaimed, “What? The Sixth Stair?”

Since he was a martial artist, he knew exactly what those words meant. By reaching the Sixth Stair, one would have surpassed many powerful figures in the past thousand years.

He could not believe his ears. He found it hard to believe that James, an ordinary man, could become such a terrifying existence in such a short period of time. This was unbelievable. How on earth did he cultivate?

James smiled and said, “Can you leave this to me now?”

“Yes.” After thinking for a moment, the King said, “I’ll be abdicating soon, but I still have a family to feed. I only ask that you offer me some benefits once you become the new King.”

“Sure.” James smiled and said, “That’s not a big deal. However, there won’t be a second Orient Commerce in the future. New Era will be a fair and just chamber of commerce where everyone can thrive if they work hard.”

Upon hearing this, the King smiled. “But of course.”

As he said that, he turned to look at Gloom and ordered, “Follow James to Mascuoyae and bring Xavion back.”

“Understood.” Gloom nodded.

James stood up and said, “I have to bring Xavion back in three days. Let us make haste and depart at once.”

The King waved slightly and said, “Get going then.”

James turned to leave, while Gloom followed close behind.

After they left, the smile on the King’s face froze. His face darkened, and he silently muttered under his breath, “The Sixth Stair… How terrifying… How did he manage to cultivate to such a level?”
