“By the way…”
James was reminded of Thea’s request.
Looking at Quincy, he asked, “What are the current requirements for joining New Era?”
Quincy replied, “The requirements are rather strict. Only companies that have a market value of fifty billion dollars and above are qualified for the application process. Not only that, but we even have a professional team to audit their accounts. Only businesses with a healthy cash flow can pass the preliminary round.”
James nodded and said, “Here’s the case. The Callahans wish to join New Era Commerce. Could you do something about that?”
Quincy said smilingly, “The chamber of commerce belongs to you, James. I’m only a manager helping you. Your word has the final say.”
Hearing this, James was relieved.
“If there’s nothing else, I’ll be taking my leave. I’ll arrange for someone to send Xavion here in secret. However, be mindful that Xavion should be kept out of the public eye for now, or else he might be in danger.”
“I see…” After thinking for a moment, Quincy said, “In that case, I’ll head over to the Cadens’ residence and have a discussion with him.”
“That works too.”
After the brief conversation, James returned home.
Upon returning home, Thea walked over to him and asked, “Did everything go smoothly?”
“Yes, it did. I told Quincy about the Callahans’ matter, and she’s willing to turn a blind eye.”
