Sky arrived at the entrance to the mausoleum.
However, his path was blocked by a stone wall.
“Damn it,” he hissed.
He concentrated his True Energy and slammed his palm into the stone wall before him.
King Quavon had instructed his servants to specially build this stone wall. It took them countless years of painstaking effort to construct it with unique materials. Although Sky had ascended the peak of the Sixth Stair, he could not break the wall.
“There must be some sort of mechanism.”
After he let out his frustrations on the wall, he calmed down and began to look for the mechanism.
He searched for a long time but to no avail.
Before he could find the mechanism to open the stone wall, a figure approached him.
It was Thomas who had also rushed to the scene.
Thomas immediately noticed that Sky was searching around for something. He walked over, glanced at him, and asked, “What’s going on?”
Sky replied, “I was a little too late. The Blithes have already entered King Quavon’s Mausoleum using the floor plan. I’m stuck at this checkpoint and can’t proceed any further.”
Thomas scanned the surroundings and began to search for the mechanism Sky described.
Before the two could activate the mechanism, another person soon arrived.
It was Callan who had rushed over after hearing the news.
More and more people began appearing outside King Quavon’s Mausoleum.
Meanwhile, James and Tapio continued to solve the various puzzles and advanced further into the mausoleum while Donovan followed behind them.
He remained silent throughout the journey. As for the other Blithe members, they became increasingly vigilant after the initial casualties, and there were no more accidents along the way.
Tapio suddenly stopped in his tracks.
James asked, “What’s wrong?”
Tapio replied, “If the floor plan is correct, we should be right outside the crypt. We’ll need to get past this complicated labyrinth in order to reach it.”
James had also scrutinized the floor plan.
Thus, he knew there was a labyrinth within the mausoleum.
He turned to Donovan and said, “Pass the floor plan to me. I’ll do a double-check.”
