Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1650

Meanwhile, Maxine had been assisting Quincy with matters related to New Era Commerce while James was away at King Quavon’s Mausoleum.

During this period, she heard a couple of things from Quincy about Thea’s condition.

“Are you saying she doesn’t have long to live?”

Maxine looked at Quincy in disbelief and asked, “You’re absolutely certain about this?”

“Of course. James brought Thea to see my teacher, Callan. I was there and personally heard him say that Thea only had a couple of years ahead of her if they couldn’t find a way to treat her condition,” said Quincy.

“This…”

Maxine was stunned.

Thea looked fine, so how was it that she barely had much time left on this earth?

At that moment, a sudden thought flashed in her mind.

“I’ll go check on Thea.”

She bid farewell to Quincy.

Soon, Maxine arrived at Thea’s house.

Thea had not left her house in two days and stayed home trimming the flowers and plants.

When Maxine reached, she spotted Thea, who had finished tending to the plants in the yard and was heading to rest in the gazebo.

“Oh. Hey, Maxine.”

Seeing Maxine approach, Thea greeted her softly.

“Mhm.”

Maxine walked over and sat down beside her.

“What’s the matter? Is something wrong?”

Thea spoke very calmly.

“You…”

Maxine looked at Thea. Apart from the hair color, everything else about Thea seemed normal.

“What are you trying to say?” Thea looked at Maxine.

Maxine thought for a while to choose her words and asked, “I heard from Quincy that there’s something wrong with your body and you only have a few years left to live. Is it true?”
