As the turbulence within the water became more intense, a strong current swept toward him. Despite ascending the Skyward Stairway’s Ninth Rank, he could not withstand the force and was blasted away, swirling around in the water.
He quickly backed away and retreated to a safe distance.
Although he was at the bottom of the sea, the water was crystal clear, and he could see everything before him.
A head protruded from the massive stone cave before him.
It was an enormous camel-like head with slanted horns on top.
The dragon also had a long beard and large eyes that emitted a red light like a pair of lanterns.
It opened its mouth and revealed two rows of sharp teeth. As it opened its mouth, a terrifying force swept across the water, causing another tempest in the sea. James quickly backed away, but the pressure crashed into him, and he felt pain wrack his body.
James swung the Primordial Dragon Blade in his hand.
A Sword Energy burst out.
It charged forward rapidly at the dragon’s head.
After one attack, James quickly turned and fled without hesitating.
His purpose was merely to lure out the dragon.
At that moment, everyone stood at the coast and stared at the strait.
Suddenly, the calm waters began to churn.
“There’s movement.”
Someone exclaimed.
Everyone stared at the sea surface. Under the countless gazes, the calm sea began to roil violently, and huge waves tens of meters high began to form, crashing into the two cliffs near the strait.
Some rocks fell because of the huge waves, and they tumbled into the sea.
“It’s…It’s coming!”
“Is it really the dragon?”
“We’re about to have an intense battle with the dragon!”
“I’m so nervous!”
