Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1789

Thomas had told him to wait a few days in Cansington for his father to show up. After he met with his father and asked about his mother, he would leave Cansington with Thea and travel around the world.

“Alright, then. I won’t send you off.”

After James bid farewell to Cynthia, he contacted Maxine.

Maxine was still in Cansington and had not returned to the Capital.

As a wise woman, she knew James and Thea would get remarried after Thea recovered her memories.

Thea had always wanted to live in seclusion.

Now that Sol was in peace, there was a high chance James would remarry Thea and live in seclusion with her.

She had been waiting for James to say goodbye.

Thus, she was very calm upon receiving James’ call.

“Alright. I’ll head out right now.”

Maxine hung up the phone and headed to where she had agreed to meet with James.

Their meeting place was in the city square.

James sat on a chair in the square and smoked a cigarette.

Click! Clack! Click! Clack!

High heels could be heard approaching him.

Hearing the footsteps, James raised his head.

It was Maxine, who had come to meet him.

She was dressed in white and had long, chestnut-colored hair. She looked cool as a cucumber upon seeing James.

Maxine walked over and called out sweetly, “James.”

“Maxine, I’m here to say goodbye.”

James went straight to the point.

“Mhm.”

Maxine gently nodded as she had already expected it.
