Regardless, James wholeheartedly accepted their wishes.
They gathered and conversed.
Langston suddenly asked, “By the way, since you retreated into the mountains, why have you decided to leave seclusion? What do you plan to do next? Why don’t you come to Lothian?”
Langston extended an invitation to James.
“Although Lothian is still far off from equalling Sol, I have an unlimited lifespan. As long as Lothian continues to develop for a few more decades or even centuries, it will surely become one of the most powerful nations in the world. In the near future, it could also be the only superpower in the world.”
Langston was originally of noble birth. However, he was defeated in a power struggle a millennium ago. To stage his comeback, he began courting many powerful martial artists. However, as he reached the pinnacle of his power, he sensed the presence of the Omniscient Deity. Fearful of his strength, he faked his death and lived a life of seclusion for a millennium.
Currently, there was little to no power disparity between him and the Omniscient Deity. Now, the age of the ancient martial world had arrived. How could he continue to stay hidden from the outside world?
James turned down his offer with a smile.
Langston smiled faintly and remained silent. He knew that Thomas Caden had established the state of Japura. Surely, he must have extended an offer to James as well. If James turned down his grandfather’s offer, why would he accept his?
“Langston, when did you cross into the ninth rank?” James asked.
After brief contemplation, Langston said, “Ninth rank, huh? It should be around a millennium ago when I failed to slay the Spirit Turtle.”
“In that case, how did you cross into the ninth rank?” James asked.
