Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 1954

Xain was much stronger than Conrad.

James' pain tolerance exceeded Xain's expectations.

“Your determination is commendable, brat. I underestimated you. By the way, today is supposed to be your wedding, right? I heard you were planning to marry three women at once. I’d love to see how much longer you can last.”

A faint smile spread across Xain's face.

He waved his hand, and Maxine, who had crashed in the distance, was picked up by the force and dropped beside James.

Xain drew his sword.

A sick smile formed on his face as he pressed his long, sharp sword against Maxine’s neck. “I wonder if your heart will be in agony if I kill her.”

“Why bother with the nonsense? Just kill me.”

Maxine’s face was pallid.

She was not afraid of death at all. In fact, she was glad to die with James.

Maxine struggled to crawl toward James and reached out to hold James’ hand.

James’ limbs were disabled and covered in blood. Maxine’s hands were slick with blood as she took his hand in hers.

“James…” She cried out in pain and held onto James.

Xain casually waved his hand and forcibly separated them. He held on to his sword and walked toward Maxine. His sharp blade pressed against Maxine’s pale face and he swiped his sword across it.

The sword cleaved into her skin and left a gruesome wound on her face.

Maxine shrieked in pain.

James had almost fallen unconscious at that moment, but Maxine’s agonized screams drew his attention back.

James attempted to get up, but his whole body felt weak. He barely had the strength to open his eyes.

“Are you okay, Maxine?”

He uttered softly, making a sound only he could hear.

“You have impressive endurance to be able to stay awake.”

Xain’s voice came from above him.

James took a deep breath and fully activated Novenary Golden Body Siddhi.
