Marcello nodded and said, “The Primordials were the ones who left the Celestial Abode behind. This should be a piece of cake. Let me impart to you some of my techniques. You should be able to pass the barrier easily.”
Right then, the Son of Heaven stood up.
Though he failed a moment ago, he now had a rough understanding of the formation. Then, he tried breaching through the formations’ defenses.
James and Marcello observed him intently.
The Son of Heaven charged into the formation and dodged a succession of attacks flawlessly. Soon, he was already halfway through. In the end, a dozen golems attacked all at once.
Meanwhile, the Son of Heaven performed an unusual technique. No matter how many golems attacked him, he was able to dodge them in time.
Eventually, he passed the formation.
Standing at the other side, he turned to look at James and Marcello and flashed them a smirk. Then, he turned to leave, descending the slope and disappearing from view.
Marcello was unconcerned. After all, this was only the third barrier. There would be more to come, and there was no way the Son of Heaven could pass through all nine barriers.
James looked at Marcello and asked, “You were saying you’re going to impart me some of your techniques?”
“Mhm.” Marcello nodded slightly and said, “Although you are strong, you have never undergone official training. Thus, you’re unable to exert your full strength.
“Now, sit in a lotus position on the ground.”
James did as he was told.
“Close your eyes and empty your mind.
“Relax…
“Try sensing your surroundings with your Psynergy,” Marcello said.
