After James left Mount Bane, he promptly made his way to Lothian.
He went to the military region of the closest city to Mount Bane and boarded a private plane directly to Lothian.
Half a day later, James finally arrived in Lothian.
He met up with Langston, Tyrus, and Xandra in the palace.
Xandra knew most Overworld Outsiders had gone to Mount Bane’s Celestial Abode. Since they already knew about it, Lothian’s martial artists did not bother investigating further.
“How did it go, James? Are you alright?”
Xandra pulled James over and checked him for injuries.
James smiled and said, “Nothing happened to me.”
“By the way, what exactly is the Celestial Abode?” asked Tyrus.
James briefly explained the events that happened after he entered the Celestial Abode.
Despite his offhanded descriptions, everyone present paled and balked at the experiences James described.
“I’m going to meditate in seclusion for some time. When I’m strong enough, I’ll challenge it once more to see if I can conquer the Celestial Abode.”
After speaking, he turned to Xandra.
“Mom, remember how I told you about bringing you to a place to purify the Demonic Energy in your body? Now is the time.”
“Alright.” Xandra nodded gently.
James took his time in departing.
The last time he came to Lothian, he wanted to see Winnie. However, his mother had called, and he hurriedly rushed to save her, completely missing his chance to see his daughter.
To make up for that, he decided to stay in Lothian temporarily.
That afternoon, he finally reunited with Winnie.
Winnie was already four years old.
With a chubby face and hair that was tied into neat, little braids, she looked adorable.
“Winnie.”
When he saw Winnie, James was choked up with emotion. In the past few years, he rarely had the chance to accompany Winnie.
