Since James had the confidence to kill the Son of Heaven, the Omniscient Deity did not stop him.
“I won’t stop you from killing the Son of Heaven. However, do know that he isn’t the strongest Outsider at the moment. The most powerful Outsider is Tristen, who is already a Herculean at the Sixth Layer. The Herculean rank only has six layers. After breaking through the sixth layer, he will reach the Immortal Ascension rank.
“So please don’t act recklessly in Hazted City. You must be respectful and get Tristen’s permission to fight the Son of Heaven and make a promise that this matter will be over after you kill him.
“Do you understand?”
James parted his lips and replied, “Mhm, I understand. I’ve already come up with a plan.”
After explaining his intention to challenge the Son of Heaven and discussing the matter with the Omniscient Deity, James left Mount Jade.
Half a day later, James returned to Mount Bane and arrived outside Hazted City’s gate.
James was dressed in white and carried a long sword on his back. He walked toward Hazted City slowly.
Many Outsiders were gathered outside the city.
They stopped in their tracks upon seeing James draw closer and cleared the way for him. Standing on either side of James’ path, they began to talk about him.
“That’s James! He’s the martial artist from Earth!”
“Some time ago, he violently killed someone in the city and angered the Deputy City Lord, the Son of Heaven. He was instructed to plead guilty to his crime at the City Lord’s Mansion within three days if he wanted them to spare his life. If he didn’t they were going to kill him.”
“The Son of Heaven also threatened to eradicate a city for every day James did not comply with their demands.”
James strode toward the city gate as the group of Outsiders gossiped about him.
He ignored them and remained calm.
Soon, he arrived at the city gate.
The guards on duty were delighted to see James.
“Are you here to plead guilty to your crime, James?”
“Since you’re here to plead guilty, you may enter the city and head to the City Lord’s Mansion on your knees.”
“No, you should climb from under my crotch.”
One of the guards spread his legs.
