Roar of the Supreme Warrior novel Chapter 2139

Laelia witnessed James’ body being stabbed. He was even struck with a palm, sent flying, and collapsed to the ground. The ground had even developed a deep pit.

Her face turned pale from the horror. Even her savior had died horribly at Saturio’s hands. She would have no way out today.

“Your Highness…” Saturio stood in the air. He smiled as he looked at Laelia, who was trembling in the distance. “Did you really think that this man could save you? How absurd.”

James was already dead, as far as Saturio could tell.

“I-I’ll give it to you.”

Laelia decided to make a compromise. Even James was dead. If she did not hand over the jade pendant, she would also be dead and Saturio would still get the jade pendant.

If she handed over the jade pendant, she could at least preserve her life. As long as she lived, there was a chance for vengeance.

However, at this precise moment, a silhouette of a person shot up into the sky from the ruins below. His hair was unkempt, and his entire body was covered in blood. He looked like a mess.

However, the wound on his chest had healed.

With his hand, James wiped away the blood that had spilled from the corner of his mouth. As he looked at Saturio in the distance, a faint smile appeared on his face. He said, “How troublesome. It seemed that unless I employed my signature martial arts skills, I wouldn’t be able to kill you."

“You?” When Saturio saw that James was safe and sound, he could not help but be shocked.

His longsword had pierced James’ body. He had even used his palm to deliver a powerful strike to James. James could not possibly be alive.

Nonetheless, James was now standing in front of him, safe and sound. How could he not be taken aback?

James took a step forward while he was high in the air. After he took a step, the aura on his body became much more intense and powerful.

With every step he took, Saturio could sense an unseen force pressing down on him. His body tipped slightly, and he nearly collapsed to the ground.

James continued march forward with each stride.

Shortly after, he had taken thirty-three steps.

After he took the thirty-third step, Saturio had reached his limit. His body was already on the ground at this point, having been trod upon. Cracks had appeared on his body. It seemed like it could fall apart at any moment.

He was lying on the ground. Blood trickled out of the corner of his mouth.

“This… How is this even possible?”
