There was now a crack in the seal to the Three Thousand Worlds. Those who were relatively weaker could easily pass through the seal to Earth.
The seal was powerful, and stronger people could not easily travel through to Earth for the time being. Even if they were to be able to pass through, they would have to pay a heavy price for doing so.
Laelia’s strength was mediocre, as such she would easily have been able to pass through the seal.
However, Earth was currently in a chaotic state, and she would not be able to compete for the treasures. Thus, she might as well stay in the Land of Tabal.
The two returned on the same path.
A few days later, they arrived back at Tabalham.
Upon their arrival, the Targwyns bombarded James with questions. However, his answer remained unchanged. He told them he obtained nothing.
The Targwyns were not surprised that James’ trip to the island was fruitless. So many of their family members had gone to the ancestral land in the past, but all were to no avail.
James stayed in the Tabal Empire for the time being.
In the meantime, the Emperor of the Tabal Empire collected food from across the country.
In the blink of an eye, a week had passed.
James practiced in the independent courtyard behind the palace in the morning. Laelia appeared and said merrily, “James, we’re almost done collecting all the food you requested.”
Hearing this, James was elated.
After having come to the Land of Tabal for so long, he was finally close to completing his task.
“Thank you, Laelia.”
Laelia said smilingly, “You saved our family. This little favor is nothing in comparison. The food is stored in the military base right now. My father asked me to bring you there.”
“Alright.” James nodded.
Laelia gestured to him. “This way, please.”
Afterward, she turned around, led James out of the palace, and showed him the way to the military base outside of the city.
Soon, they arrived at the military base.
