James followed to the tower’s entrance.
There were several ancient scripts engraved on the beams of the entrance. They were from very ancient times, and James could not read or understand them.
He froze momentarily and followed the Sword Master into the tower.
James discovered that the inside of the tower was relatively vast. The first floor was about a thousand square meters. The place was furnished with countless bookshelves that were filled with books.
The Sword Master did not stay on the first floor but headed up the stairs to the ninth floor.
James followed her to the ninth floor.
After the Sword Master reached the ninth floor, she searched the books. Soon, she found an ancient book on a bookshelf. Then, she found a corner to sit down and seriously read the book.
Meanwhile, James scanned his surroundings curiously.
He picked up a book and found that the words in the book were not in a language from Earth, so it was impossible for him to read them.
After scrutinizing the book for a while, he still could not understand anything.
Thus, he put down the book.
Although he placed the book down very softly, it still caused a slight sound. The Sword Master, who was focused on her book, sensed something and looked toward the sound.
She saw a book moving slightly and frowned.
“Am I hallucinating?”
She put the book in her hand down and walked over.
Seeing the Sword Master approaching, James instinctively leaned on the bookshelf to avoid the Sword Master.
Since his aura was concealed and he was invincible, the Sword Master could not see him.
She walked over, picked up the book that James had placed down, and observed it for a while.
