“A penny for your thoughts?”
A voice came and interrupted Walagnus' thoughts. He collected himself and lifted his head.
A gorgeous woman was walking toward him. She walked into the hall, sat on his thighs, and leaped into his embrace.
Walagnus spread his arms to embrace her, saying, "I heard from Empress Xianna that Sangria has an Imperial Jade Seal. However, the seal is long lost. The same goes for the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword possessed by the Sword Pavilion."
Yanina nodded slightly and said, " I know nothing about the Imperial Jade Seal, but I’ve heard about the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword. The Sword Pavilion once had a divine sword, but according to the records of ancient texts, the pavilion was wiped off the map once. Ever since then, the divine sword was nowhere to be seen. No one knows who currently has the sword."
Walagnus asked, "Are the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword and the Imperial Jade Seal keys to opening the Sword Pavilion's seal?"
Yanina shook her head and said, "I don't know."
"I'll go ask the Sword Master."
Walagnus stood up and headed to the dungeon once more.
This time, he completely separated the Sword Master from Empress Xianna. The two were now separated far away from each other.
In the dungeon, the Sword Master lay in the dark and damp cell, her face pale. There were blood traces on her lips, and her pulse was weak. However, as a Sage, she would not die that easily despite being gravely injured.
Walagnus stood before her and said coldly, "I'm here to ask you a few questions about the Crepe Myrtle Divine Sword."
Hearing this, the Sword Master merely grunted and paid no heed to him.
A slight grin crept up on Walagnus' face as he said, "You're a woman, Sword Master. You should know what the most precious thing is to a woman. This is your final warning. Speak, or else…"
