James had great admiration for the Ancestral Sword Master’s swordsmanship. After he obtained such a splendid technique, he no longer had anyone to fear.
Having practiced such powerful swordsmanship, James had no fear, regardless of how challenging the Earth’s Third Calamity would be. James was confident he could guide the humans on Earth through the calamity.
The flying battleship smoothly sailed over the ocean.
The rest of the journey went by without encountering any other fangers.
Another three months passed in the blink of an eye.
Suddenly, the battleship came to a stop.
James was cultivating in his room, trying to better comprehend the swordsmanship he had learned.
A knock came on his door.
He got up and opened it.
An old man stood outside his room. He wore a gray robe and had a white beard.
The old man looked at James respectfully and said, “Mr. Caden, we’ll reach the Seafolk’s domain soon.”
“Mhm.” James nodded and walked out of the room.
The two of them walked onto the battleship’s deck together.
Four people met up on the deck.
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch pointed at the waters ahead and said, “Keep going straight from here, and you’ll reach the Seafolk’s territory in about three days. The Seafolk stay on an island shielded by a protective formation that prevents outsiders from entering.
“Back then, I passed through this place while I was being pursued by a monster. The Seafolk saved me and took me into their territory.
“I won’t accompany you for the rest of the journey. The three of you will have to go alone. I’ll wait for you guys here.”
The Blademaster of Mount Grinch had promised the Seafolk never to reveal their location.
