Immediately after they entered the new arena, the Guardian appeared before them.
The Guardian stood inside the arena and walked over to James.
Prior to this, James had always stood at a distance from the Guardian, so it was hard to see the man’s appearance.
Now that the Guardian had come closer, James was finally able to see him clearly. He was an old man with a white beard. However, it was hard to discern his features properly as he had a hood covering most of his face.
Brielle, the only other person in the arena, followed after James and called out to him. “James.”
James nodded. “Yes.”
The Guardian’s eyes were fixed on James. He observed James for a while and asked, “That was the Nine Heavens God-Annihilating Formation. I wasn’t expecting to see it again in the Apocalypse Age.
“Young Man, how do you know about the Nine Heavens God-Annihilating Formation?”
The Guardian protected the Thirty-Three Arenas and what remained of the Ancient Heavenly Court.
He knew every detail about the Ancient Heavenly Court, including the Nine Heavens God-Annihilating Formation.
After asking the question, he came to a sudden realization.
“The daughter of the War God had been sealed away...”
James nodded and said, “That’s right. I learned the Nine Heavens God-Annihilating Formation from the daughter of the Ancient Heavenly Court’s War God.”
The Guardian fell silent for a few seconds and asked, “How is she doing?”
James nodded. “She’s doing very well and will soon become a Grand Emperor.”
