Jules was at the Quasi Emperor Rank's First Tribulation, whereas Xainte was at the Quasi Emperor Rank's Second Tribulation.
In a real fight, she could easily take Jules down.
Yikron changed the topic, asking, “We’ve already traveled deep into the Great Wilderness. Where should we go next?”
Xainte stopped replying him.
She sat in a lotus position and closed her eyes.
James saw Xainte land on a mountaintop from afar and planned to head over to talk with her.
His figure flickered, and he flew toward the mountain. As soon as he landed on the mountain, Yikron shouted at him, “Stop right there!”
Yikron waved his hand, and a powerful force swept toward James.
Yikron was not a Quasi-Emperor, but he was at the Divine Rank’s Third Stage.
The moment James appeared, he immediately knew that James was only at the Sage Rank. He did not unleash a lethal attack but simply moved to stop James.
Despite it being a light attack, his force contained great strength. James was unable to withstand the blow and was sent flying.
He slammed into the ground some distance away and spat a mouthful of blood.
Yikron spat contemptuously, “So many flies are trying to get close to Xainte these days.”
Xainte preferred to avoid handling troublesome matters and was happy that Yikron resolved most of the problems for her.
She did not even spare a glance at James, who was sent flying.
Yikron walked over to James.
Just as James was about to get up from the ground, a foot stomped on him.
Yikron stepped on James’ chest. James struggled to break free, but there was a huge gap in strength between him and Yikron.
James felt excruciating pain in his chest.
Lowering his head, Yikron looked at James.
“Don’t you know how weak you are? You’re only at the Sage Rank, yet you want to see Xainte? You must have a death wish.”
