James spoke casually, but everyone was appalled as they listened to him.
With a shocked expression on her face, Brielle took a few steps forward, and asked, “What? You killed Sabrathan?”
“Yes, he was killed. What about it?” said James indifferently.
Cold sweat had formed on Brielle’s forehead.
“James, you’re too rash. Do you know how powerful the Fallen Angel Clan is? It’s one of the most prominent races in the Demon Realm. Sabrathan was the son of the Fallen Angel King. You killed Sabrathan. The Fallen Angel King will not let this go.
“Sigh… There’s nothing more to say at this point. I’ll do my best to help you. If the Labhrann Clan steps in, there may be a chance to turn this around.”
As matters stood, Brielle had nothing else to say.
She was already planning how to save James in her head.
Henrik, on the other hand, walked over, patted James on his shoulder, and said with a smile, “Way to go, James. Sabrathan, that brat, has long irritated me.”
Qusai also walked over and called out, “James.”
James responded to his two sworn brothers with a smile.
“Alright. Spread out, everyone.”
Brielle stepped forward and started to disperse the living beings and humans who were watching in amusement in the vicinity.
After that, she led James into the Labhranns’ residence.
In the Labhranns’ residence, James began chatting with some of his old friends.
Meanwhile, an elder was rushing over to a sanctuary in the headquarters of the Demon Realm’s Fallen Angel Clan. With a look of panic on his face, he knelt down in a large, empty space and said, “Clan Leader, this is bad. Something happened. Young Master’s soul lamp has gone out.”
As the elder spoke, a pair of massive black wings appeared in midair of this space.
Under the black wings, there was a middle-aged man in a black robe. The middle-aged man restrained his aura, and the massive black wings behind him vanished into nothingness.
His body descended from the sky and stood firm on the ground.
