“Alright.” Winnie nodded lightly. James escorted her out of Mount Teva.
Winnie walked in front of him and asked. “When did you arrive here? Why are you in the Primeval Age? Did you come here on your own or were you coincidentally sent here?”
Winnie was already aware that James had come to the Primeval Age, but she still did not know if he deliberately traveled here or happened here by chance.
James replied dejectedly, “I came here to see your mother.”
Stunned, Winnie stopped in her tracks and turned to James in shock. She asked. “Is Brianna really my mother?”
After thinking about how to answer her, James said, “Well… Yes, and no.”
“Huh?” Winnie was puzzled.
James said, “Your future self knows the complete details. The events that happen in the Primeval Age will lead up to certain events in the future. However, you missed out on some important information because you left too early. Thus, you did not know that Thea’s soul was used to make the Ancestral God Rank Elixir.”
James explained future events to Winnie in a hushed tone.
When Winnie traveled to the Primeval Age, she was stained with Karma.
Winnie originally came from the Apocalypse Age. As such, hearing James speak of future events would not attract Karma to her. She was able to clearly hear every single word James told her.
“I see.”
Winnie grasped the situation and said, “So after you learned what you know and found out that Thea was in the Primeval Age, you traveled through the River of Time to come here.”
Distressed, James said, “That’s right. However, the Thea in the Primeval Age knows nothing about me. I shouldn’t have appeared in the first place. I told her about events to come, but it attracted Karma, and she couldn’t hear anything I told her.”
James was anxious but did not know how to proceed.
Winnie comforted him. “There’s no need to rush. Sooner or later, Mom will surely recognize you.”
“I hope so.” James sighed.
The two chatted along the way.
