The scenery was picturesque, and there was an abundance of Primordial Energy. There was even a terrifying Formation there.
The Callahans were a powerful family in this universe, and its might stemmed from the eight distinguished daughters who spread the Callahans’ fame far and wide. However, even without them, the Callahans were still an influential family. The Callahans’ history can be traced back to the creation of the universe. A Grand Patriarch of the Callahans was one of the powerful figures who appeared. However, as he was competing for a Chaotic Treasure, he was injured by the powerful figures from other universes. Even though countless years had passed, the Grand Patriarch still had not recovered from his injuries and was still in a closed-door meditation in a restricted area.
At that moment, Thea arrived at the mountain at the back of the Callahans and the restricted area. Before her was a stone cavern, from which a powerful aura could be detected. The power of this aura stunned even Thea, who was a Caelum Ancestral God.
“The Grand Patriarch’s aura is growing increasingly steady. His injuries must be close to recovering,” Thea murmured. Then, she entered the stone cavern.
There was a stone house inside the stone cavern. Inside sat an elderly man who was dressed in a green robe. There were mysterious characters circulating around his body, and each character possessed a terrifying Will of the Path.
“Grand Patriarch.”
As Thea appeared, she greeted him respectfully.
The elderly man dispersed his aura, and the mysterious inscription around him disappeared. Then, he stood up and glanced at Thea before saying, “You’re here, Thea.”
“Mhm.” Thea nodded. “I am here to retrieve the Demon-Slayer Sword.”
Hearing this, the elderly man’s expression turned grim, and he asked, “Why do you need the Demon-Slayer Sword? Who do you intend to fight against?”
Thea shook her head slightly and said, “I’m not planning to fight against anyone.”
