Henrik hovered in mid-air and stared back at Stanley.
Stanley was from the Third Universe, which was relatively advanced with a stable Heavenly Path. Moreover, his mentor was a Macrocosm Ancestral God.
However, Henrik was not intimidated.
Meanwhile, James was dumbfounded by Henrik’s sudden appearance.
‘Henrik?! Why is Henrik here? The person who taught my teacher? Does that mean his teacher is one of Yukia’s disciples?’ thought James.
Once again, he learned more about Yukia.
“Hey, Bro! Fancy meeting you here.”
Henrik turned around and looked at James who had called out in delight. He stepped back slightly and said, “Hey, I’m only interfering because I didn’t like how he’s bullying someone weaker than him. Who’re you calling your Bro? Don’t suddenly act like we’re friends. You’re not qualified to be a brother of mine.”
“...”
James was stunned.
‘What’s going on? Henrik doesn’t seem to recognize me.’
After processing what happened, James snapped back to reality and asked, “A-Are you from the future?”
“Future?! What the hell is that? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Henrik lightly shook his head.
His answer told James that the current Henrik was not from the future.
It was no wonder Henrik was really friendly with him during their first encounter in the future. They had already previously met in the Primeval Age. Thus, the future Henrik had already experienced everything that was taking place currently in the Primeval Age.
Following that logic, everything was already predetermined and would not change in the future. Otherwise, future Henrik’s experiences would be different, and that would violate the universe’s rules.
“I must’ve mistook you for someone else.” James addressed him politely, “Nice to meet you. My name is James Caden. I’m also from the Twelfth Universe.”
Henrik nodded and said, “I know.”
