It was noon, and classes had yet to begin.
Most students gathered in groups to chit-chat, gossiping about the dating lives of other students and teachers.
“Yvette, get over here right now!” A voice sounded.
Following the shouts, a young man stomped over furiously with a dozen classmates.
Meanwhile, a young girl with long black hair dressed in a white dress was listening to music through her headphones. She was seated in the last row of the classroom.
Her head bopped along with the music. Suddenly, she sensed something wrong and raised her head.
Seeing the dozen or so students approaching, her expression slightly darkened. She took off her headphones, opened the window, and jumped outside. After landing, she quickly took off.
The male student in the lead ordered furiously, “Follow me! I have to kill that f*cking b*tch!”
The group of students quickly rushed after her.
Yvette dashed down the stairs. In a panic, she bumped into a few people and got an earful from them.
At the same time, James arrived at Sunleigh High School.
He looked at the innocent-looking students walking in and out of the school and felt slightly sentimental. He remembered being a student like them, unrestrained and free.
Back when James was a student, he was the most popular guy in school.
Quincy, on the other hand, was the school belle.
The two were the epitome of talent and beauty. Naturally, they started dating.
James was absorbed in his thoughts when a girl chased by dozens of cursing students suddenly came running in his direction.
“Yvette Zook! You better stop running!”
“Hmm?” James frowned when he heard the name.
‘Yvette Zook?
’Isn’t that Liam’s younger sister?’
He turned to look at the girl, who had already run far away. James said to Maxine, “Let’s go and have a look.”
“Alright.” Maxine nodded.
