Aran was one of Kenji's brothers from another mother. He was actually the one who had contributed to the success of Kenji's firearm deals when Kenji had penetrated the market worldwide with Aran's aid.

The moment Kenji picked up the call, he heard an arrogant man's voice telling him, "Hey, Kenji! I'm back! I'm currently on my way out of Brimmopolis International Airport. I need a ride immediately. Do you think you'll be able to pick me up?"

"What the hell are you up to in Channing at the South?" Aran asked, confused and shocked.

"It's a long story. Someone killed my brother, so I'm currently on a trip to avenge him. You're back just in time because I'm in desperate need of your help to take out the Ares of the North. He's also known as the God of War. I'm afraid you're the only one who can deal with him," Kenji explained.
