Salute to the General novel Chapter 1577

The Crescent Moon Hotel right now was extraordinarily lively.

Meanwhile, the Excalibur's party venue, by contrast, had become empty.

There were only staff left cleaning up the place.

And not to forget Phoebe, who was seated in a chair, her face livid.

Other than that, Durand and his subordinates were still at the venue. However, they did not dare to utter a word for fear of worsening Phoebe's mood.

The silence was broken by a subordinate rushing in from the outside. “Ms. Davier, Mr. Waters and Mr. Herrington both regret to inform you that they had to follow their fathers' wishes and return to Brimmopolis as soon as possible,” the subordinate reported softly.

Phoebe's expression turned even grimmer after hearing that.

She knew that Donnie and Marshall were both reprimanded by their fathers and wouldn't partake in her grudge with Nathan Cross any longer.

“Those spineless good-for-nothings!” Phoebe blurted out with rage.

She lifted the glass of alcohol on the table and swallowed it in one gulp with a tilt of her head.

It was at this moment that a group of footsteps could be heard walking towards Phoebe.

Leading the group was a tall and slender man that had a head of naturally curly hair. The man wore gold-rimmed glasses and looked especially elegant in an exquisitely tailored tuxedo.

“You seem like you could use somebody to drink with,” the elegant man said to Phoebe with a smile.

Phoebe turned her gaze towards this man. “Santiago!” she couldn't help but exclaim.

The man who had appeared before her was none other than Santiago Lieberman, the heir of the Lieberman family.

Santiago's father, Wilfred Lieberman, was a powerful man and once a member of the Great Cabinet. He was so powerful that, in fact, he almost became the president.
