Salute to the General novel Chapter 2517

That morning, Nathan had just sent his daughter to school.

After coming out of the school, he got into the backseat of a sedan.

He casually picked up the newspaper in the car and started browsing through the news section. While he was doing that, he asked the driver, Colin, “What's the situation with Ariarica over the past two days? Have they sent someone to negotiate with us?”

“I was told that Ariarica sent their Foreign Minister, Jessica Pattinson, to negotiate in Eurasia. As for Eurasia, Zion is tasked with negotiating with Ariarica,” Colin reported.

Nathan merely nodded because he already knew that information.

Colin then added, “However, Jessica didn't come. Instead, she sent her subordinate, Jemma, to Eurasia. Jemma is the leader of Ariarica’s negotiating team. The reason for their trip to Eurasia is to meet up and negotiate terms with Cross Group and the other companies. They want to force these companies to agree to their terms. If they agree, Ariarica will consider not sanctioning them.”

Nathan frowned. “Jemma and her team, where are they now?”

“Well, they most probably have arrived at Channing by now. I think they're on their way to Cross Group.”

“Why didn't you say so earlier? Let's get to Cross Group now.”

“Understood!” Colin answered.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere in Cross Group was rather somber.

All the employees in the company were feeling edgy in their seats. In fact, none of them dared to get up and walk as they wished. As for those who usually would hang out in the pantry, they remained seated at their desks.

The atmosphere was even tenser on the floor where the chairman's office was located.

There, a few neatly dressed female secretaries were seen bringing beverages to the meeting room hurriedly.

In the spacious meeting room, Penny and the executives of Cross Group were seen sitting on one side of the long conference table, whereas Jemma and the other representatives of Ariarica were seated opposite.
