Colin led the Elite Eight and Felidae Battalion warriors to confront
Braydon and the rest.
Just as both sides were in a stalemate, Sage suddenly walked out of Indigo Palace.
When Colin saw Sage coming out, he asked, “What did Chief Cross say, General Tomlinson? Did he tell you to get rid of these nuisances?”
Sage shook his head. “Mr. Windsor, Chief Cross, and Mr. Lucas said that Mr. Goodall is allowed to get inside and make an arrest.”
Colin and the others had their eyes widened in disbelief. Braydon, who has chosen today of all days to make an arrest, is clearly being disrespectful to Mr. Windsor, Chief Cross, and Mr. Lucas, yet all of them agreed to let him in? They’re being too generous! They see only the bigger picture and are willing to accept Braydon's unreasonable behavior! Well, since they've already spoken, I have no choice but to let him in.
Unable to hold Braydon back, Colin then ordered the soldiers to let Braydon in.
Seeing that, Braydon smiled smugly as he tidied his suit, pushed his glasses up, and strolled past Colin with his head held high.
Braydon's assistant was his younger brother, Sigurd Goodall.
Sigurd was a beast of a man, and he looked incredibly intimidating.
At the moment, he was leading the other members to catch up with his older brother.
When he walked past Colin and Sage, he smiled widely and said mockingly, “I told you all to let us pass, but you wouldn’t listen. Now that your master has spoken, you watchdogs can do nothing but step aside. You all shouldn't have blocked our path in the first place. Hahaha...”
The expressions of Colin, Sage, and the others darkened. The soldiers behind them were so furious that their eyes were filled with murderous intent.
However, Sigurd pretended as if he saw nothing and joyously followed his brother into the banquet hall with his men in tow.
Colin stared at the Goodall brothers and spoke in suppressed rage. “Those two better not fall into my hands in the future, or else they'll be in a world of pain.”
Sage patted his shoulder and comforted, “Don't worry, brother. You'll get your chance.”
Braydon led Sigurd and the others into the banquet hall.
When he stepped in, he saw Hansel, Nathan, Zion, and the others.
On top of that, he also saw a bunch of people glaring at him in fury.
However, that didn't faze him at all as he appeared composed.
