Salute to the General novel Chapter 2671

The Holmes family descended into chaos when they found out that all four military districts with their four hundred thousand troops had Brimmopolis surrounded.

The headquarters of the Capital Garrison was in an uproar as well.

Although the Capital Garrison had over two hundred thousand men, not every one of them was as loyal to Will as the Ban th era Trio.

Most of them were serving the country instead of Will.

Even though none of them had said a word when the whole fiasco started, they were starting to have a change of heart when circumstances changed.

Although they did not turn on Will right away, all of them escaped to the White House or the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor. They wanted to express their stance and promised that they were willing to obey the orders of their Chief Military Governor. In other words, they wanted to cut ties with Will.

Soon after the arrival of the soldiers from all four military districts, Will's two-hundred-thousand-strong army seemed to vanish into thin air even before the battle began.

Only a few of his loyal yet idiotic subordinates were left by his side.

At that moment, the headquarters of the Capital Garrison was empty and desolate. The inside of the whole place was rather messy as well.

Occasionally, gunshots and the sounds of fighter jets flying by could be heard clearly coming from the outside.

In the command center, Will was sitting in front of his military map with a long face on.

There were still about a dozen of his men serving by his side. However, their faces had all turned pale, and they were panicking.

Right then, Will uttered, “We're surrounded, aren't we? I'm f*cked. You guys shouldn't stay here any longer. Go and surrender yourselves and ask for lighter punishments.”

Upon hearing that, his men were on the verge of crying, but they refused to give up on him.

“I'll stay by your side till the end!”

“We're not abandoning you, General. We'd rather die by your side.”
