Karlis snickered in scorn when he was challenged.
“The human race is pitiful. You have no idea you're facing the most powerful being in the world now. Since you can't wait to go to hell, I'll send you there.”
Karlis' hair and his clothes rose into the air although there was no wind that night.
Penny was petrified at the sight. “Hubby, be careful.”
Nathan looked at her calmly and nodded. He had seen much more on the battlefield, so he did not even flinch.
Karlis started chanting an ancient curse.
At his sound, the blood vessels on his face started showing underneath his pale skin, forming a horrifying image. His face became contorted and ugly, but his body was slowly becoming stronger and harder.
Gradually, a beam of light took shape and surrounded him as if he was possessed.
His presence was fortifying toward its pinnacle at that moment. Like a primitive beast, white fume was breathed out from his nostrils, and his voice became hoarse and gripping.
“Death shall befall the ruler of Eurasia tonight!”
Penny could not believe what she was seeing.
So this is what they call a vampire over in AdrunefThey do exist'.Gosh, I hope Nathan can survive this!
Just as Penny was starting to feel worried for Nathan, the latter took up the challenge confidently and replied calmly, “It's still too early to proclaim victory.”
With that said, his body vanished, and he was nowhere to be seen.
Karlis' bloodshot eyes widened in alarm.
This speed is unbelievable!
Before he could look around, Nathan was already right in front of him.
Since this was the first time Nathan was fighting a vampire, he decided to go easy.
Swoosh!
