Salute to the General novel Chapter 2755

Nuguri was dead!

The werewolves were sad, angry, and afraid. They were filled with mixed emotions as they stared at Nathan.

Nathan ordered, “I'll give you guys ten minutes to scram. You will do well to remember that all of you will have to bear the consequences if you repeat this offense.”

The werewolves exchanged glances with each other, supported their injured ones, and scurried off with their deceased comrades.

It did not take long for the werewolves to make themselves scarce. It was as if they had never appeared in the first place.

The sounds of engine humming and police sirens were heard not far from where Nathan was standing, and soon, a fleet of police cars came into view.

It was the police of Eagleland.

Nathan eyed the police cars and the officers who were fumbling to get out of their cars. Then he turned to look at the Cadillac that had overturned. A derisive look fleeted across his eyes.

Right then, Catherine and Morse labored to climb out of the Cadillac.

Nathan was especially baffled by the Five Musketeers who were beaten up by Colin. They had been playing dead and only struggled to get up after realizing that the werewolves were gone.

Nathan let out a snicker and said to Catherine and Morse, “Hah, there I was thinking that these people from Eagleland do not look like normal thugs. So they were elite military men sent by the two of you to deal with me!"

Catherine hurriedly explained, “Morse arranged for these people. It

has nothing to do with me. I didn't have a say in the matter.”

Morse, who was standing aside, appeared to be overcome with shame.

Nathan eyed Morse and said, “It seems that you're not willing to yield.”

Given Morse's personality, he would have tried to put up a fight and argue with Nathan.

However, after witnessing Nathan's formidable prowess and considering the fact that he had saved Catherine and himself, Morse knew that he could no longer put up a strong front with Nathan.

“Mr. Cross, thank you for saving my life. I have been foolish to try to harm you. I would like to offer my sincerest apology. Also, I would gladly accept any punishment that you think would befit me.”

It was beyond Nathan’s wildest expectation to see Morse lowered his head and apologized sincerely.

Nathan glanced at Morse and let him off the hook after seeing that he was sincere in his apology.
