Having said that, Sketch went toward Ava with a smirk hanging on his lips.
Nathan declared coolly, “You'd better drop the lecherous act before me if you don't want to die today.”
Sketch, who was on his way to Ava, halted in his tracks.
He scowled at Nathan as anger gathered in his gaze.
His voice was icy cool as he demanded, “Come again?”
Nathan removed his shades to reveal his handsome face and eyes as sharp as an eagle's. He remained impassive as he said, “Your mama told you to study hard, but you insisted on becoming a bandit. Now, you can't even understand human language. Let me make it clear for you. If you stop acting like a thug, you might get to live longer.”
Sketch knew what Nathan meant. He couldn't believe that Nathan dared to be this bold here on Mille Crescent Island when he was a local.
As Nathan made himself clear, Sketch flew into a rage.
“F*ck! No one has ever dared to act this outrageous in the lawless land. I shall teach you a lesson even if you're here to represent the five families!” Sketch declared furiously.
He lifted his AK rifle and pointed it at Nathan. “Brat, get on your knees,” he ordered in a menacing tone.
The armed men beside Sketch struggled to contain their delight as they shot Nathan amused smirks.
They assumed Nathan and Ava were weaklings and didn't bother paying any respect to them.
Everyone who came to Mille Crescent Island would have to follow their rules or die a horrible death.
Sketch is going to teach Mr. Cross a lesson. He's so unlucky!
The pirates chattered among themselves happily and waited for the show to begin. Some hugged their rifles and started distributing cigarettes to their companions so they could smoke while witnessing Sketch teaching the brat a lesson.
Some pirates gazed at Ava lecherously. This young man is nothing but a playboy. He came here to negotiate with us but only brought along a pretty female subordinate. Doesn't he know we're pirates? He's practically sending her into a den full of lions.
Sketch's gun was aimed at Nathan, but the latter remained unfazed. He glanced at Sketch's AK rifle as his lips curled into a grin. “Don't show off in front of me. I'm better than you at using this.”
Huh? Sketch was baffled.
His lackeys, who were either smoking, distributing cigarettes, or enjoying the show, froze at Nathan's words.
