Salute to the General novel Chapter 2861

“Whoa!”

Following Nathan's command, his horse slowed down and came to a halt.

At that moment, Bryon and his horse had just run past the finish line.

However, after crossing the finish line, the horse was not inclined to slow down. Instead, it galloped past Nathan.

Nathan slightly frowned as he sensed something was wrong.

As he suspected, Bryon's shrieks were heard a few seconds later.

“Oh no! My horse has gone crazy. It's not listening to my command. Everyone, hurry up and move aside!”

Earlier, Bryon was disgruntled when Nathan surpassed him earlier. Therefore, to regain the lead, Bryon whipped his horse repeatedly and forcefully.

The horse he was riding was one of the best racing horses which had won multiple world championships.

Fausto adored the precious horse and cared for it deeply.

The other riders had never whipped it before, too.

However, that day, it was flogged mercilessly by Bryon, causing its skin to almost split open.

Even a rabbit would bite a person when driven to the brink of desperation, not to mention a remarkable champion horse.

As a result, Iorasia was thoroughly angered and went berserk.

Carrying Bryon on its back, Iorasia charged forward recklessly toward the audience outside the racing track.

Bryon was overwhelmed by a sense of danger. He tugged fiercely on the reins in an attempt to halt Iorasia, but the horse had lost its mind.

It neighed aggressively and tossed Bryon from its back.

Bryon toppled off and fell onto the racing track miserably.

A group of bodyguards rushed over to help him up and asked concernedly, “President Bryon, are you all right?”

Bryon had yet to calm himself from the frightening experience. As he wore elbow pads and knee pads, he did not suffer from any significant injuries despite his pathetic appearance.

Bryon shook his head and replied that he was fine. Then, he shifted his gaze onto Iorasia, which was stampeding toward the crowd in the distance, and yelped, “Watch out! That horse is insane!”

At that moment, Iorasia was speeding in Penny's direction.

Penny was a woman, not to mention a pregnant woman, so the consequences would be unimaginable if the horse crashed into her.
