Nathan chatted with Dip for a while and gave the latter a few words of encouragement before getting ready to leave.
Noting that, Dip asked hurriedly, “Mr. Cross, aren't you staying at my place?”
Nathan shook his head. “It's too packed here. We'll just look for a random place on Eurasian Street to stay for the time being.”
Upon hearing that, Dip had no choice but to say, “All right.”
With that, Dip stood up to escort Nathan and his men out.
Right then, a knock suddenly sounded from the outside of the door. Frowning, Dip called out, “Come in.”
Immediately after that, Dip's subordinate entered and said anxiously, “Mr. Tucker, this is bad. The Dishonorables have come looking for trouble again. They smashed up several shops and injured many of our men.”
Dip was shocked and angry when he heard the news. His face even purpled with rage.
Despite that, he suppressed his anger and said, “What are you shouting for? Can't you see I've got guests to entertain? You may leave now. I'll deal with The Dishonorables in a while.”
Hanging his head, his subordinate answered, “Okay.”
With that, he left the study.
Nathan glanced at Dip and asked plainly, “What's wrong? Is there trouble?”
Dip smiled wryly before explaining, “Recently, a new group has appeared on Eurasian Street, led by Eamon Kane. All of them are Koandrians. Eamon then created a group called The Dishonorables on Eurasian Street just to make things difficult for me. Basically, he wants to take my position as the underground boss of Eurasian Street.”
Nathan frowned. “Can you handle it? Do you need my help?”
Dip said hurriedly, “Oh, it's fine. It's fine. Eamon and his subordinates might be quite competent, but I can still handle it. How could I possibly ask for your help to deal with such a trivial matter? That would simply be overkill.”
Nathan said, “If you can handle this, then I shall not interfere. However, you need to remember this. You must keep Eurasian Street within your control. After all, this is our base and the secret accommodation for our informants. There must not be any problems with this place. If you really can't handle this Eamon person, just call for my help. I'll send people over to eliminate them.”
Dip replied, “Got it. I'll definitely ask the government and the organization for help if I really can't handle this.”
Nathan nodded and left with Colin and Kraven without saying anything else.
Soon, the trio found a hotel on Eurasian Street as their temporary accommodation. After settling down, they exited the hotel to get some supper.
It was already one o'clock in the morning.
