Salute to the General novel Chapter 2887

Nathan and the others headed back to the hotel.

It was already late at night, so they went back to their respective rooms to get some rest.

That night, Colin kept his guard up and his eyes peeled for Kerry to prevent her from sneaking in.

If she manages to steal the dagger from right under my nose, I'd be too ashamed to show my face ever again.

However, dawn came, yet Kerry was nowhere to be seen.

Colin stared out the window and gazed at the clear sky, feeling rather confused. Could it be that Kerry knew her chance of success would be slim to none, so she just gave up? Yeah... I guess that's possible.

As that thought flashed into his mind, a smile spread across his lips.

At daybreak, he fell asleep despite still being a little wary.

Early in the morning, Colin was roused by the sound of his phone ringing. Glancing at his phone, he was surprised to see that it was a call from the Headquarters of the Chief Military Governor.

He hurriedly answered the call.

The person on the other line was Sage.

It turned out that Sage had enlisted the help of all hackers in the country and got them to search for clues about the Ghost Ship in the past two days.

Their efforts paid off when a talented white-hat hacker from the military managed to hack into Ariarica's Pentacle Tower system. Just before he was discovered, he was able to find clues and the location of the Ghost Ship.

Worried that he would disturb Nathan if he called too early, Sage decided to call Colin to tell him the news instead.

When Colin heard that Sage had obtained information on the Ghost Ship, he was overjoyed. He asked hurriedly, “So, where is the Ghost Ship exactly, Mr. Tomlinson?”

Sage replied with enthusiasm, “The reason why the Ghost Ship is named as such is because it's elusive. Its whereabouts are difficult to track since the ship does not stop at a specific location and will keep navigating through the waters in a random pattern. Apart from that, it will deliberately avoid passing ships, specializing in sailing through less traveled areas of the sea such as the Bera Triangle. Under normal circumstances, it's very difficult to pinpoint the Ghost Ship's location.”

Colin widened his eyes. “Then, how are we going to find it?”

Sage chuckled. “Fret not, Deputy Commander, for our men have already investigated this matter thoroughly. Although the Ghost Ship has been wandering the seas for a long time and has always been elusive, it would dock to resupply every three months. We have found out that the Ghost Ship will make a discreet stop at Newcove's Lady Freedom Harbor at midnight tomorrow for a routine supply run. It will take about six hours to resupply the ship, and it will leave the harbor the morning after tomorrow. As such, the best time to board the Ghost Ship would be tomorrow night.”

Ecstatic over the news, Colin said, “Lady Freedom Harbor, huh? This is great news! We're in Newcove right now!”

Sage added, “I've also found out some information on the Ghost Ship. I'm sending it to your phone so you can take a look at it when you have the time. Be prepared, and make sure nothing goes awry. Keep President Cross safe, you hear?”

Colin replied, “Got it.”
