Salute to the General novel Chapter 2892

After Black Hole ordered the Ghost Ship to go into alert mode, he asked Mable, “Who is in charge of the deck tonight?”

Mable responded, “The King of War, Colonel Hawk.”

Black Hole said, “Get him to check on the unusual situation immediately. I want him to personally carry out the investigation.”

“Yes, sir!” Mable responded.

In the duty room on the deck, the burly-looking Hawk was holding a cigar in his mouth, a few cards in his left hand, and a wine bottle in his right hand. He was gambling with a few subordinates.

Suddenly, a soldier barged in.

Hawk threw away the cards in his hand angrily and snapped, “I lost again.”

Scowling, he looked up at the soldier who barged in and said, “Didn't I tell you not to barge in to disturb me if there's nothing serious out there?”

The soldier's face was full of horror. He lowered his head, avoiding Hawk's gaze. “Colonel Hawk, the commander's assistant, Ms. Mable, sent you an order—”

Before the soldier could finish his words, his throat was seized by a big strong hand. Then, he was lifted off the ground, leaving his feet to kick in the air.

His mouth fell open as he gasped for air, his face reddening. He looked at Hawk in terror and said with difficulty, “Colonel Hawk...”

Hawk held the soldier with one hand and said coldly, “She's just a commander's assistant and not a commander! I don't like her giving orders all the time! Who does she think she is?”

On the verge of suffocating, the soldier could barely choke out, “A-Admiral Black Hole t-told her to pass on the words...”

At the mention of Black Hole, who carried the titles of King of War and Battlefield Madman, a trace of awe and fear shone in Hawk's eyes.

After all, Black Hole's power was simply too terrifying.
