Salute to the General novel Chapter 2908

Meanwhile, Kerry was in front of the prison cell on the lowest floor of the Ghost Ship. After putting in much effort, she finally opened the cell door.

Carefully, she twisted the last lock.

Click!

Once the crisp sound reverberated in the air, the door unlocked.

Colin and Kraven beamed. The door was finally opened.

Right then, Nathan's voice traveled out of their earpieces.

Colin instantly replied, “Sir, it seems like there's something up with the Ghost Ship. We've come across only one cell so far, and it's on the lowest level.

Moreover, only one person is locked up in this cell. This isn't the same as the information we've gotten. We were expecting the Ghost Ship to be holding a large number of powerful beings from all over the world.”

Kraven chimed in, “Still, although there is only one prisoner in this cell, it's a cell with a sub-zero temperature environment. Moreover, the alloy cell door is half a meter thick. I'm certain that the prisoner inside is no ordinary man.”

Hearing that, Nathan promptly asked, “Is Master the one locked inside?”

Kraven replied, “We're not sure yet. Ker has just unlocked the door, and we were about to enter to find out if Master or Old Mr. Styles is inside.”

“Okay, stay safe. I've already slaughtered the guardians on the Ghost Ship and killed Max. I'm expecting Ariarica to react harshly to this, so we have to leave as quickly as possible.”

Colin and the others replied, “Understood!”

With that, the three people summoned the strength to push open the door with their hands.

The half-a-meter-thick alloy door began to slide open.

Kerry was the first to run into the cell, shouting, “Master, is that you?”

Colin and Kraven ran in after her.

Kerry rushed to the messy-haired elderly man sprawled on the ground, about to help him up to find out if he was her master, Hermes, or if he was Nathan's master, Lothar.

However, both Colin and Kraven's expressions suddenly changed as they cried out, “Watch out!”

Colin was a famed ferocious general of Eurasia's army, and Kraven was a top combatant who had seen much of the world.

Both men were used to life-and-death situations, so they were sensitive to danger.

Just as Kraven walked into the icy cell, he caught the scent of danger.

Colin also sensed something amiss about the sprawled man. Although the elderly man was lying on the ground, completely still like a cobra in hibernation, a powerful murderous intent was coming from him.

Therefore, Colin deduced that the elderly man was not hibernating but was waiting for the right opportunity to attack instead.

Meanwhile, when Kerry heard Colin's cry of caution, she froze.

Right then, the elderly man on the ground abruptly leaped up and lunged toward Kerry.

That elderly man was neither Lothar nor Hermes.

His expression was as fierce as a malicious spirit as he launched himself at Kerry, planning to kill her right there and then.

Kerry was scared senseless.
