After letting out a snort, Vince moved Max's corpse to underneath his left arm before reaching out his right hand and grasping at the air.
The very next second, the attackers closest to him felt an invisible force grabbing them by the neck and lifting them off the ground.
And then, Vince clenched his fingers suddenly.
The men who were suspended in mid-air and kicking frantically instantly exploded into a mist of blood.
The sight horrified Mueller, along with everyone else present.
Vince scoffed, “How dare a bunch of insects like you get in my way?”
Before the crowd could recover from their shock, Vince had moved hundreds of meters away in a flash. With another flicker, he had disappeared from their sight entirely.
By the time Mueller and the rest regained their senses, Vince was nowhere to be seen.
Mueller grumbled, “D*mn it, pursue him! I want him captured even if you have to turn Newcove upside down. Also, we have to save Admiral Max.”
Deep into the night, Newcove went into an uproar as a citywide manhunt for Vince began alongside the search for Max.
However, Vince had already left the city with Max and arrived at a forest in the outskirts where his castle was located.
Inside the castle, the most powerful vampires in Newcove were all gathered.
Surrounding them were the elites of the vampire warriors who were waiting respectfully for their orders.
Right in the center of the hall was a massive hexagram marked on the ground in blood.
With many sacrificial items placed within it, it looked as if an ancient ritual was being prepared.
“Greetings, Your Grace.”
“Greetings, Your Grace.”
Upon Vince's return, the vampires present put a hand on their chest and bowed to him.
