Salute to the General novel Chapter 2939

Nathan had easily killed Sanguine and the other three Demon Eyes.

Meanwhile, Sevan's attacks were getting stronger and stronger. His opponent, Heliotrope, was distracted when he noticed Sanguine and his other comrades had been killed by Nathan.

Without missing a beat, Sevan took the opportunity to grab Heliotrope's head.

A loud crack sounded when Sevan snapped his enemy's neck.

On the other side, Cyan, who was evenly matched with Kraven in their fight, began to panic when he realized his comrades were all dead.

He forced himself to take a slash from Kraven. While he managed to shove Kraven away, he was hit on his chest, and the spot instantly started bleeding.

Although it was a severe injury, it was not fatal.

He turned and tried to make a break for it.

At this moment, Colin was holding up a sniper rifle a distance away from the battle. Once he trained it on Cyan's back, he pulled the trigger.

If Cyan was not injured, the bullet could hardly hurt him.

However, he was grievously injured. Colin's bullet shot him from the back, making him stumble.

Nevertheless, Cyan still managed to cling to life. Despite getting struck twice by a sword and a bullet, he still managed to flee from the scene.

Both Sevan and Kraven instantly made to run after him, but Nathan stopped them.

“There's no need to go after him!”

Colin walked over and chimed in with a smile, “He's right. The bullet I fired is a special kind of bullet with a military-use tracking device. That guy will run back to Heavenly City, and we'll take the chance to track him down and find out where Heavenly City is.”

Kraven's eyes lit up when he heard that.

In contrast, Sevan stood in front of Nathan and subtly gestured to Nathan the enemy he had defeated as if he was a hunting dog showing its owner what it had achieved.

Nathan let out a half-amused, half-exasperated chuckle and praised, “Good job, Sevan. You're starting to get out of their control. Keep it up!”

Sevan beamed at the compliment.

By then, a thousand soldiers of Dragon Warriors had already combed through the surrounding areas.

Not only had they found the survivors, but they had also recovered the bodies of their countrymen.

There had been over a thousand people who had chosen to stay in Wallera.

Yet, now, there were less than half left—over five hundred people had died earlier in the night.

Those people had even been eating and drinking with Nathan at the banquet earlier.

Nathan grimaced.

He instructed an officer, “Lead eight hundred men and bring these survivors and the bodies to the port. You'll be meeting with Colonel Caulfield there. I'll lead two hundred soldiers with me and take a trip to Wallera's palace. I'm going to settle the score with Jaymes myself!”

Hearing that, the officer could not help but comment, “President Cross, two hundred soldiers are too little. Why don't we all go with you to invade the enemy's palace before meeting up with Colonel Caulfield?”

“There's no need to. Two hundred soldiers are more than enough to enter Wallera's palace.”

Hearing that, the officer had no choice but to obey Nathan's order. “Yes, Sir!”

Meanwhile, at Wallera's palace, chaos had broken out. When the palace maids and servants found out that the president of Eurasia would be invading with his army, they all fled. During the chaos, some even tried to steal from the palace.

The lustful and cruel Jaymes did not even have the time to think about the palace maids and the servants.

He summoned all of his ministers and soldiers, and they were all trembling in fear in the palace hall.

Unsurprisingly, Jaymes was the most anxious one. As he paced up and down, he mumbled under his breath, “What do we do? What do we do?”

Leighton lowered his head as he sighed inwardly. You should've known better than to cross Eurasia's Dragon of the East.
