Salute to the General novel Chapter 2953

“Mr. Cross, are all these people from Heavenly City? Also, did you manage to find out where our masters are?” Kerry asked while staring at the dozens of captives that were bound.

Nathan's gaze fell upon the captives on the deck as he replied, “All I know is that your master is currently being held in a prison in Heavenly City. I haven't had the chance to ask them for details on Heavenly City's location.”

He then called out to Colin and motioned to him to proceed with the interrogation.

Colin nodded and walked up to the captives with his hands behind his back.

He glared coldly at them and said in a commanding voice, “I'm sure you are all well aware of your current situation. Those of you who are willing to cooperate and answer my questions honestly may be spared. A wise poet once said, 'It's not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.' If we are to put our fate in someone else's hands, then we have only ourselves to blame for what happens. Right now, you all have a choice to take control of your fates. Whether you live or die is entirely up to you!”

The captives exchanged glances with conflicted looks on their faces.

Colin then pulled out his handgun, flipped the safety off, and racked the slide loudly so they could all hear it.

“Now, I will ask you all a question. Those of you who are willing to answer shall be spared. Tell me, where exactly is Heavenly City located?”

After pacing about for a bit, Colin stopped in front of one of the captives and asked, “Are you going to answer my question?”

The captive looked up at him with a hesitant expression. “I...”

Bang!

Colin raised his handgun and shot the captive dead on the spot.

The other captives kneeling on the ground shuddered when they realized how ruthless Colin was.

Colin shifted his gaze to the next captive, who looked weak and frail. “What about you? Would you like to answer my question?”

The skinny captive was trembling all over as he looked up with fear in his eyes.
