Salute to the General novel Chapter 2989

At that moment, Hidetake strode toward Nathan.

His pace quickened. Finally, he transformed into a blurry figure and charged toward Nathan.

“This is my form of courtesy to you,” Hidetake bellowed in a deep voice. The katana in his hand turned into a beam of light and swung toward Nathan.

Hidetake's impending attack looked formidable.

Fang, Heptakill, and the rest could not help but frown slightly.

Hidetake was undoubtedly the famed figure of the Jetroinian Navy. From that attack alone, it was evident that Hidetake's strength was far more powerful than those warriors earlier.

Nathan raised his sword to block the attack.

“Thank you for the courtesy, this is my appreciation in return.” The moment Nathan finished speaking, he fended off Hidetake's attack and immediately followed with a swing of his arm to attack Hidetake.

Nathan's sudden outburst of power took Hidetake by surprise. Not only was Nathan able to fend off his attack, but he also managed to counterattack so swiftly.

Alarmed and appalled, Hidetake hastily retreated.

Even then, he was not able to escape Nathan's sword.

In an instant, a slit appeared on his clothes near his chest, and beneath the slit was a faint cut oozing crimson blood.

That wound was not fatal, in fact, it was hardly a scratch.

But Hidetake's face was boiling with rage. He did not expect to be wounded right at the start of the battle. It was simply too humiliating for him.

Hidetake totally lost it. He decided to give his all and roared, “First stance of Blade of Sun: Lotus Slash!”

As he exhaled, the katana in his hand instantly transformed into hundreds and thousands of beams of light. The beams of light began to form a circular shape, akin to a full-bloomed lotus flower.

Next, the beams of light charged toward Nathan.

Seeing this scene, the soldiers in the Jetroina camp began to cheer excitedly.

However, Colin, Fang and the rest held their breath and watched the battle intensely.
