“Be careful!”
“Mr. Cross!”
Colin and Kerry exclaimed unanimously at the sight of Lothar deploying the horrifying Gold and Silver Twin Strike.
Even Sevan, who was being supported by Colin and Kerry, was worried that Nathan wouldn't stand a chance against Lothar's attack.
Nathan moved into position and a loud boom resonated across the area.
Both of his feet were planted firmly into solid ground.
He raised both of his hands in an attempt to block Lothar's third attack.
Lothar's Gold and Silver Twin Strike struck Nathan's chest at almost the same time.
The right side of Nathan's chest suffered a blow from Lothar's left palm.
Countless ice shards instantly materialized on his chest and the right side of his body felt frozen and stiff.
Lothar's right palm landed on his left chest.
Nathan's clothes were instantly burnt to smithereens, scorching him till blisters formed across his skin.
Twin deadly forces of ice and fire emitted from Lothar's palms into Nathan's body, wreaking havoc on his insides.
Nathan grunted in agony and backtracked several steps, coughing out a mouthful of blood.
He felt instant relief from the discomfort in his chest after that.
Colin witnessed Nathan's plight and was fueled with righteous anger.
As the leader of the National Guard who fought alongside Nathan, he had not seen Nathan get hurt for such a long time, let alone suffer such severe injuries.
At that point, tears were already streaming down his face.
Nathan exhaled and slowly lifted his head to stare at Lothar. “I won't show mercy now that you've exhausted your three moves. We no longer owe each other anything at this point. No more holding back now!”
Lothar was mildly surprised. “I'm genuinely in awe that you managed to survive all three of my blows. Nevertheless, it's undeniable that you're badly injured. I wonder what's the difference between you sustaining three or even ten blows from me. Either way, you're going to die in my hands.”
