In an instant, fights erupted throughout Heavenly City. Sounds of battle and wails of agony could be heard coming from every direction. It was a scene straight from hell.
At the moment, Nathan and Lothar were in the heat of battle.
Raising his fist and throwing out a punch, Nathan roared, “Military Punch, Thunderstorm!”
A strong wind churned around his fist and the air crackled with energy as sparks of electricity danced across the surface of his skin.
Lothar did not expect such a fierce attack from Nathan, what with how exhausted the latter's physical strength was to the point that his hair had turned white.
In the face of Nathan's all-out attack, Lothar had no choice but to block it head-on.
Just as he raised his hands, Nathan's fist came roaring in.
Bam!
Nathan's fist met with Lothar's crossed hands.
The powerful impact broke through Lothar's defenses, breaking his arms before hitting him in the chest.
Thud!
Feeling as though he had just been hit by a missile, Lothar trembled as he felt his bones shattering. Immediately afterward, his entire chest caved in, and he coughed out a mouthful of blood.
Like a kite that had its string cut, he was sent flying backward.
However, just before his body could crash to the ground, a figure appeared in the air. With the swiftness of a howling gale, the figure shot toward Lothar and caught him.
After using Refraction Technique a few times, both the figure and Lothar disappeared in the blink of an eye.
“D*mn it!”
When Sevan saw that someone had saved Lothar, he responded in shock and anger before trying to give chase immediately.
However, before he could do so, Nathan called out to him weakly, “Don't go after him. The punch I gave him earlier has not only broken his arms but also the bones in his chest, crushing all his internal organs. Only death awaits him now. Even God won't be able to save him, so there's no point in pursuing him.”
Only when Sevan heard that Lothar was bound to die that he gave up his intention of pursuing the man.
Unbeknownst to him, there was another reason why Nathan had stopped him from going after Lothar.
