Salute to the General novel Chapter 3077

While Nathan was scanning his surroundings to assess the situation, Sevan ran up to him and greeted him respectfully, “Hello, Mr. Cross.”

“Are Kylie and Queenie okay?” Nathan asked.

“The werewolf attacked the car, but the two of them are all right. They're both hiding inside the car right now,” Sevan replied.

Nathan nodded before shifting his gaze toward Laura, who was being supported by her subordinates.

Laura looked disheveled with blood all over her clothes and tears flowing down her cheeks.

So, this is the cardinal who confidently promised she could protect my daughter? Looks like she got beat up so badly that she's actually crying!

“Are you okay, Cardinal Laura?” Nathan asked calmly.

Laura had promised Nathan that the Curia was capable of protecting Queenie, only to get beaten up and insulted by Kaiden.

The feeling of humiliation was so intense that she wished the ground would open up and swallow her whole.

“I-I'm okay...” she stammered with her face all red and her head held low.

With an indifferent voice, Nathan then told the bishops and warriors next to her, “Keep your cardinal safe.”

“Got it!” they replied in unison.

Laura was so ashamed of herself that she couldn't even say a word in response.

She felt as though Nathan was indirectly mocking her, but there was nothing she could do about it. Hence, she was livid and ashamed at the same time.

However, someone else was more livid than her.

Being a werewolf, Kaiden had a sharp sense of smell and detected Nathan's dangerous aura even before he showed up.

Realizing that Nathan was a huge threat, he had prepared himself mentally for a tough fight.

However, Nathan didn't even spare him a glance after arriving at the scene.

Naturally, Kaiden didn't take too kindly to being ignored like that.

He glared coldly at Nathan like a hungry wolf would a sheep that entered its hunting grounds.

“So, you're Nathan Cross, the God of War of Eurasia and the father of the next Holy Maiden?”
