At that moment, Raytor's spirit slowly began to fade until it finally disappeared without a trace.
The werewolves had surrendered.
Hepburn was stunned, and so were Daveth, Betty, and the others.
Colin, Sevan, the bounty hunters from the town, and the rest shared their shock as well.
However, what happened next confirmed that they weren't dreaming.
The werewolves had truly surrendered to Nathan.
They watched as the high priest of the werewolf clan, Steen, walked over to Nathan and respectfully held out his staff, which represented his status in the clan. With a deep bow, he showed his submission.
“Please accept the surrender of the werewolf clan, Mr. Cross, and have mercy on us. We vow to never violate humans ever again in the future.”
Nathan dropped his gaze to the high priest bowing in front of him and stated, “As the Deputy Commander of the Hundred Nations Gods of War Alliance, I accept your surrender.”
Relief washed over Steen at Nathan's acceptance. “Thank you for having mercy on us, Mr. Cross,” he said with gratitude.
Following that, the chiefs, War Gods, and the generals of the werewolf clan dropped to their knees and held their weapons above their heads to show their submission.
Finally, it was the warriors' turn to yield.
When the moon ascended to the middle of the night sky as midnight came, the submission ceremony finally came to an end.
The werewolves laid their weapons down by Nathan's feet, then dropped into a deep bow before scrambling to retreat.
In the end, all the werewolves left the battlefield along with their injured comrades as well as their dead comrades' corpses.
