Everyone was dumbfounded the moment they saw it. In the distance, a large number of fully armed warriors really did appear. Countless warriors surged forward like a mighty torrent majestically, their spirits high and full of vigor as they approached ahead.
At first, Wolfric was shocked, but he quickly realized something was wrong. Although countless warriors appeared on the streets, they were not wearing Eurasia's uniforms or holding the Eurasia flag. Instead, they were dressed in all kinds of clothing, and their weapons were diverse. Some were in camouflage uniforms, some were dressed like rangers, and some looked no different from ordinary people. Their weapons were diverse, ranging from sub-machine guns and sniper rifles to revolvers holstered at their waists. Some wielded knives, swords, bows, and arrows, while others carried large axes and spiked clubs on their backs. Despite dressing differently and arming various weapons, looking like a motley crew, these people all had weather-beaten faces and indifferent expressions. Evidently, each one had experienced the battlefield and seen bloodshed as warriors.
However, lines of worry were still etched across Wolfric's forehead. Biting back his anger, he turned to Nathan and asked, “Nathan, what is this?” Nathan shrugged. “Obviously, they are the thirty thousand elite soldiers I promised to contribute to everyone.”
The surrounding people stare blankly at one another. Wolfric growled, “They aren't Eurasia warriors!” Nathan's face hardened as he retorted coldly, “When did I ever promise the soldiers I contribute would be from Eurasia?”
Wolfric widened his eyes, staring at Nathan in disbelief. “Are you cheating?”
Nathan said with displeasure, “What do you mean by that?”
“You say that I don't have a decent army under my command and questioned my capability to become the commander-in-chief of the alliance. So, you asked me to gather thirty thousand warriors, and I have fulfilled your request. Do you really need to question where my warriors come from or whether they are male or female?” Nathan argued.
For a moment, Wolfric was actually at a loss for words, unable to respond to Nathan's rebuttal.
After a while, Wolfric finally blurted out angrily, “Regardless, you can't just find a random group of farmers to appease us! Aren't you just playing tricks?”
Nathan said coldly, “Mr. Welz, who told you that these warriors of mine are farmers?” Wolfric was clearly displeased and pointed at the approaching army of thirty thousand in the distance. He snarled, “Even if they're not farmers, they're still a motley crew.”
