Bang!
Nathan's fist struck Oleg's chest, producing a dull thud.
A faint sound of breaking bones could be heard.
With a grunt, Oleg was sent flying like a kite with its string cut, landing heavily on the ground.
Everyone was utterly stunned.
Hepburn and the rest of the vampires widened their eyes in surprise and confusion.
They wondered who the insignificant vampire and soldier of the alliance was and how he could be so powerful.
Those Gods, on the other hand, were on their guards.
Even Gulliver's face couldn't help but darken. A hint of solemnity flashed across his eyes.
Since he landed on Earth, he successively annihilated several armies led by human War Gods. His effortless victories restored much of his confidence.
He had thought that with his and his subordinates' exceptional combat powers, they would be able to fight their way to the Salinsburgh and take down Nathan.
Unexpectedly, before they even set foot in Salinsburgh, their progress was impeded by an insignificant soldier.
At that moment, Gulliver walked over and helped Oleg up, asking with concern in a soft voice, “Are you all right?”
Oleg uttered with much effort, “I'm fine. I won't die!”
No sooner had he finished speaking than his face suddenly changed, and he couldn't stop himself from vomiting a mouthful of blue blood.
However, after he spat out the fresh blood, the discomfort in his chest seemed to have eased.
Gulliver could tell Oleg's injuries were severe.
A sense of foreboding filled his heart. He became increasingly aware of the formidable strength of the mysterious soldier before him.
He lifted his head, looking toward Nathan in the distance. “You're the first true elite I encountered after arriving on Earth. Please state your name!”
Everyone turned to look at Nathan.
Nathan, dressed in combat uniform and wearing a combat mask, looking every bit the insignificant soldier, said nonchalantly, “A name is but a code. Besides, you lowly invaders are not worthy of knowing my name!”
We're not worthy of knowing his name? Gulliver's face turned cold, a flash of anger flickering in his eyes.
He was provoked by Nathan's arrogance.
He slowly said, “How arrogant. I hope you can maintain this arrogance when you're on the brink of death.”
Nathan raised his left hand and beckoned at Gulliver. “Come and fight!”
Gulliver shouted, “Clear the way for me. Watch me chop off his head!”
After he said that, his figure swiftly faded, disappearing before everyone's eyes.
He didn't use any weapons either.
In the next instant, a figure appeared out of nowhere in front of Nathan.
The figure was none other than Gulliver.
