Boom!
Where King William fell, a massive crater was formed with dust billowing.
Nathan's eight wings fluttered gently behind him as he descended from the sky at a leisurely pace. Finally, he hovered at the edge of the deep pit.
He stared indifferently into the deep pit at the bloodied and disheveled King William, and said coldly, “You've lost.
“According to our agreement, the losing side should lead everyone to surrender.
“Now is the time for you to fulfill your promise!
King William's face alternated between shades of pale and green. Next, he lashed out fiercely like a wounded beast.
“I haven't lost yet!”
With a roar, he exploded out of the deep pit and lunged at Nathan once again.
But it was clear now that he was at the end of his rope.
Nathan slightly furrowed his brow. He raised his hand and was ready to deliver a killing blow, but he changed his mind at the last moment. Hmm, a living King William was far more valuable than a dead one.
His fist which was originally brimming with power, ultimately lost a significant amount of its force, and he struck out gently.
Even though the punch had been stripped of most of its power, the severely injured King William still couldn't take it. He was once again knocked down by Nathan's punch, falling heavily into a deep pit.
This time, even the mighty King William was now at his last gasp, utterly devoid of any ability to resist.
Nathan no longer paid attention to the injured King William on the ground. Instead, he suddenly turned around, gazing into the distant sky, and declared in a deep voice, “The duel is over, and the outcome has been decided.
“Your Grand Marshall has already lost to me. It's time for Gods' army to fulfill your promise and surrender to me.”
In the distant sky, there was a blanket of tranquility.
Within Gods spaceship, the four Marshals—Filo, Kilan, Dunn, and Fleming—wore grim expressions. Their faces were ashen.
They never imagined that Nathan could actually be an eight-winged vampire.
They never imagined that King William would end so quickly, and in such a disastrous way.
