Mrs. Kemp was furious because it was in fact inappropriate for Derek Harvey to take her house back and drive her out of the place.
But Derek Harvey was not one to mess around with. He was the king of real estate in Channing!
Mrs. Kemp's husband might be rich, but he was nowhere near Derek Harvey's status. Derek Harvey could destroy her husband in seconds.
If she did not accept Derek Harvey's suggestion, Derek Harvey would find more ways to torment her. She was afraid of him and did not object to his demand.
She stared at Nathan Cross with extreme hatred and left hurriedly.
Derek Harvey smiled at Nathan Cross and inquired, "Mr. Cross, are you happy with how the situation was handled?"
Nathan Cross nodded his head and said, "Not bad, at least you owned up to your mistake and got things fixed!”
Derek Harvey became exceptionally happy when Nathan Cross praised him.
Standing not far away were Ben Mason and the security guards who wanted to speak but held their tongues. Nathan Cross saw them and laughed, "Derek, these security guards were just doing their job, but they lost their job because of this dispute, so just help them out, will you?"
Derek Harvey for sure would do anything that Nathan Cross asked him to.
Derek Harvey looked at Ben Mason and said, "I have gotten rid of the real estate firm from my community, would you be able to help me find a new group of people to form a real estate team here?"
Ben Mason and the rest of them were surprised and said, "Mr. Harvey, we are all ex-soldiers.”
"We have a few other comrades who are ex-soldiers as well, and they have been jobless for quite some time now. We can always gather them here and form a new team," suggested Ben Mason.
But he hesitated for a moment and said, "Well, it is just that we may not have the money to pay upfront for the business..."
Derek Harvey waved his hand and said, "Our company will support you with the money, and we will start by deducting from your real estate fee. But not to worry so much because if you are able to perform well, your real estate team can easily earn up to millions in just a year!"
It was indeed a blessing in disguise for Ben Mason. Transforming from a captain of the security team into an owner of a real estate firm overnight was surreal for him.
"Thank you so much, Mr. Harvey,” said Ben Mason in excitement.
Mr. Harvey chuckled and said, "You should thank Mr. Cross, not me!”
Without wasting a minute, Ben Mason and the rest of the security guards immediately went over to Nathan Cross to thank him.
Nathan Cross smiled and said, "Well, all of you did no wrong as you were just carrying out your duties. Furthermore, you are exsoldiers, so I trust that you will be able to manage this business well. Good luck!"
Ben Mason could not contain his excitement and responded, "Absolutely, I will not let you and Mr. Harvey down!"
