Salute to the General novel Chapter 636

Nathan glanced at the rearview mirror and his lips upturned slightly.

Penny and Queenie were sound asleep in the car.

It turned out that the two got carsick easily and took some medication. Hence, they became drowsy and hugged each other to sleep.

However, Kylie was still wide awake!

The car drove for another few miles down the road.

All of a sudden, there was a large coffin in the middle of the road which blocked their way.

The Hongqi sedan and the three Jeeps had no choice but to stop.

Instantly, Kylie turned anxious and asked softly, "Nathan, what's going on? There's a coffin in the middle of the road. It looks so scary!"

Nathan glanced once more at his wife and daughter who were sound asleep. With a smile on his face, he told Kylie, "This Hongqi sedan is completely bulletproof. It could even go through a minefield and withstand an attack by a rocket. This is just a coffin, what's there to be afraid of?"

However, Kylie was obviously still anxious as she asked, "Nathan, could this be the Quetzalcoatl from the East, Tyson Brown? Is he trying to take revenge on us?"

Unfazed, Nathan said, "Don't worry too much. Stay together with your cousin and Queenie and don't wake them up. I don't wish for them to be frightened."

Kylie pouted and agreed, "I got it!”

Nathan, Colin, and the Elite Eight got down from their cars.

At that very moment, a large group of people swarmed them.

The leader of the pack was naturally Tyson Brown.

There were two terrifying-looking men who flanked him.

One of them had long hair and was none other than Thunderstorm.

The other sported white hair and brows, and was known as Waves.

Behind Tyson stood the Eighteen Shadow killers. Topless, their exposed arms revealed the astonishing number of tattoos inked on their muscles. In their hands were weapons such as the spiked club, axe, knives, and many more. From afar, they looked extremely imposing.

Behind these eighteen were the three hundred followers and five hundred family elites. Each of them held onto a katana, or a knife, or a dagger. Needless to say, they all were waiting to kill.

Tyson looked at Nathan and broke into a fit of manic laughter, "Haha, Nathan. I've been waiting for you for a long time. I knew that you were leaving tonight, and I had to send you off.”

Nathan's gaze landed on the large coffin in the middle of the road. With his lips slightly upturned, he spoke with what seemed like a smile, "Haha, in my hometown, there are some elderly who would prepare a coffin forthemselves because they know that their days are numbered."

"I didn't expect you to have such strong self-awareness. You even prepared such a nice coffin for yourself.”
